The new lined magnetic drive pump is about to become a reality. With the introduction of our new DTN range, CDR Pompe is once again preparing to revolutionise the process pump market.
This new product was developed after years of hard work, and involved all the departments of our company, from the Technical Department, to Research and Development and
Quality Control. The result is impressive: a pump tailor-made for the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, in which CDR is already a key player, alongside the industrial sector.
Over the coming years, the new magnetic drive pump in the DTN range will replace what has been our pride, the UTN pump series.
The magnetic drive pump in the DTN range
Our exceptionally high standards have set an important goal for us: to once again improve the process pump sector with a product of the highest quality, long life and excellent performance.
Currently, the DTN range is officially available in the ETFE version. But there’s more: the PP and PFA versions will also be released in 2025. We would also like to highlight that CDR’s DTN range, along with all the other lined pumps, are produced through the Transfer Molding process.
The new DTN range: a few more details
With this new series of pumps, we are once again aiming to establish ourselves on the Italian and foreign markets, confirming our position as leaders and pioneers in the field of fluid technology.
The magnetic drive pump of the DTN range, in all its versions, guarantees hydraulic efficiency that is unparalleled on the market, with a closed impeller, a fluted shaft to reduce axial thrusts and significantly improved performance in terms of flow rate, head and energy consumption.
A huge advantage of this new line is the new dynamic shaft design. This configuration ensures not only higher pump reliability, but also lower axial thrust along the entire performance curve.
The DTN range consists of two different versions, with slightly different specifications:
- The DTN ISO version is designed and certified to operate within a fluid temperature range of -20°C to +120°C, with a maximum head of 115m and a maximum flow rate of 115m³/h.
- The DTN ASME version is designed and certified to operate within a fluid temperature range of -30°C to +120°C, with a maximum head of 105m and a maximum flow rate of 108m³/h.
These specifications guarantee not only efficient and fast operation, but also resistance and absolute safety for both environments and workers.
The fields of application for these pumps, built specifically for the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, are many and varied, and include basic and fine chemicals, petrochemical processes, the production of pharmaceutical active ingredients, and air treatment in industrial environments.
All our products, including the magnetic drive pumps in the DTN range, are ATEX 100 certified in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU.
CDR Pompe and the sustainability of the DTN range
Our company is taking important steps towards a more sustainable and green industry. We are investing a great deal to promote a circular economy that avoids waste, and to pursue this goal we recently organised the CDR Dynamics event, coordinated by the management of CDR Pompe in the presence of the entire Board of Directors.
We are also certified on the Ecovadis portal. Since 2007, this body has been providing corporate sustainability ratings that are trusted worldwide. With our new magnetic drive pump from the DTN range, we couldn’t fail to take this path, which is of the greatest importance to us.
In the design phase, our efforts have also focused on the theme of energy saving. With large investments in terms of resources, commitment and know-how, we were successfully able to create a pump with extremely low consumption, without sacrificing safety and efficiency. In fact, the new centrifugal pumps from the DTN series have a significantly higher efficiency than the models that preceded them.
With over 70 years of experience in fluid technology, CDR Pompe is the ideal partner for companies in the handling of corrosive liquids.
We are present in over 50 countries worldwide, and thanks to our work, passion and constant updates on the latest technological advancements, we remain key players both in Italy and abroad in the industrial, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. Contact us for any information.
