Alongside misuse by the user and poor maintenance, the quality of the lining plays a decisive role.<\/p>\n<h3>Choosing the right lining<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The main problem is poor compatibility with the liquids being handled. For example, the pumping of oil, aggressive bases\/acids, seawater, together with particular weather or temperature conditions, can quickly damage an incompatible lining.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chemically compatible and mechanically resistant linings are necessary to cope with these adverse factors and to ensure an acceptable service life of the machinery. Linings should therefore be selected in line with the following considerations:<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221;]<div class=\"gem-list gem-list-type-Label\" ><ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Compatibilit\u00e0 chimica:<\/strong> per evitare l&#8217;erosione da sostanze chimiche (es. Acidi\/basi, solventi, ecc.) deve essere posta grande cura nella selezione del materiale di cui \u00e8 composta la pompa centrifuga. Se le macro famiglie pi\u00f9 comuni si dividono essenzialmente in metallo e plastica, molti sono le composizioni e i sottotipi che si devono scegliere con cura a seconda delle propriet\u00e0 di compatibilit\u00e0 e resistenza offerte;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Max temperatura:<\/strong> condizioni estreme, naturali o di lavorazione, possono innescare o accelerare l\u2019aggressione chimica e l\u2019usura delle parti metalliche;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Resistenza all\u2019abrasione:<\/strong> vi sono liquidi che contengono pulviscoli o particolati, che in determinate condizioni di utilizzo possono agire asportando materiale ed erodendo le parti meccaniche della pompa. I rivestimenti metallici resistenti o particolari materiali plastici protettivi forniscono una barriera che aumenta la resistenza all&#8217;abrasione;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Sollecitazioni meccaniche:<\/strong> le parti metalliche o rivestite devono anche essere selezionate considerando i limiti meccanici del materiale; devono resistere all&#8217;intensa pressione, alle sollecitazioni (es. coppia, torsione, ecc) che potrebbero compromettere la durata dell&#8217;attrezzatura;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Protezione dalla ambiente esterno:<\/strong> oltre alla protezione interna alla pompa nei confronti del liquido di processo, bisogna anche considerare l\u2019aggressivit\u00e0 dell\u2019ambiente esterno. In particolari contesti industriali, \u00e8 necessario proteggere la superficie esterna della pompa, se collocate ad esempio in presenza di vapori corrosivi, ambienti ad alta salinit\u00e0, ecc. Tipicamente la ruggine \u00e8 uno dei fattori pi\u00f9 comuni di corrosione. The use of lined pumps therefore helps to increase and maintain good hydraulic efficiency for longer, as well as lower maintenance costs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">CDR lined pumps<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CDR manufactures and markets two families of Italian-made lined centrifugal pumps, both mechanical seal and magnetic drive. The mechanical seal models, also effective with liquids with a moderate presence of particles, are:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>UCL\/UCL-B:<\/strong> single-stage centrifugal process pumps with mechanical seal lined in plastic and fluoroplastic material. Available materials: PP (polypropylene), PVDF (polyvinyl fluoride), PFA (perfluoroalkoxy).<\/li>\n<li><strong>CCL\/CCL-B:<\/strong> single-stage, mechanical seal, plastic-lined centrifugal process pumps. Materials available: PP (polypropylene), long-coupled (CCL) and close-coupled (CCL-B) execution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For magnetic drive pumps, which guarantee the safety of complete containment of the pumped liquid, CDR Pompe offers the following range:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>ETN:<\/strong> single-stage centrifugal process pumps with magnetic drive, lined in plastic and fluoroplastic material. Available materials: PP (polypropylene) and ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene). These are low-duty pumps used mainly for tank discharge and drainage services.<\/li>\n<li><strong>UTN-BL\/UTN-L:<\/strong> single-stage, lined in plastic and fluoroplastic material, magnetic drive centrifugal process pumps.
