CDR Pompe S.p.A. is an industry leader in the manufacture of single-stage centrifugal pumps for the Chemical Process and Pharmaceutical Industries.
We have been manufacturing magnetic drive pumps for over 40 years and specialise in handling corrosive liquids for industrial applications where environmental and operator safety are of primary importance.
Safety and Environmental Protection
Requirements are particularly strict in industries processing aggressive, toxic and explosive fluids.
In these applications, "environment friendly" magnetic-driven pumps enhance plant performance and safety and extend equipment lifetime.
When pumping aggressive chemicals the mag-drive solution offers unique advantages compared to conventional sealing systems: the liquid is hermetically sealed by the containment shell, the pump construction offers higher reliability, longer service life and simplified low-cost maintenance.
However, for pumping corrosive liquids containing crystals, dirty liquids or chemical waste, the CDR Pompe range also includes high-tech centrifugal pumps with a wide variety of standard mechanical seals.
Almost the entire pump range has been extended to comply with Atex 100a regulations for maximum safety also in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Technology
The CDR Pompe S.p.A. programme now includes high-tech products and innovative solutions:
ILS Integrated Lining System Technology
Hydraulic components are obtained from injection moulding of pure thermoplastic (PP, ETFE or PFA) directly on a nodular cast iron body. The solution ensures exceptional mechanical resistance and dimensional stability under demanding operating conditions and allows the use of pure thermoplastics, offering the best corrosion resistance
Excellent performance with patented magnet system
The magnetic coupling is manufactured according to a patented system that avoids the use of resins and glue. This provides a safe system with improved performance at high temperatures.
Special thermoplastic pump construction for safe handling of aggressive media up to +140°C
Our PFA-lined process pumps (UTNL/ UTN-BL series) feature newly designed high tech isolation shells that offer greater resistance to high temperature and pressure (016 bar up to 100°C and 12 bar up to 140°C) without having fibre-reinforced wet components: only pure PFA is in contact with the liquid!
The Pumps
CDR Pompe S.p.A. manufactures centrifugal pumps for those duties where a leak-proof solution is required.
Thanks to its extensive product range, CDR Pompe S.p.A. can meet almost all industrial needs, offering the right pump choice tailored to customer's specific operating point and chemical requirements.
A world-wide network of specialist dealers provides after-sales service and technical support.
Plastic and Metallic Magnetic Driven Centrifugal Pumps
Magnetic driven pumps made from thermoplastic materials (PP, PCDF, ETFE, PFA), including a wide variety of plastic-lined models, and corrosion resistant metals (316L or Hastelloy C). CDR pumps are designed to transfer corrosive, toxic, radioactive, sterile or flammable liquids. The CDR Pompe patented magnetic coupling provides leak-proof pumping and simple, low cost maintenance. CDR Pompe magnetic driven pumps comply with Atex 100a regulations.
Plastic and Metallic Centrifugal Pumps with Mechanical Seal
Horizontal centrifugal pumps with a wide variety of conventional sealing systems, for safe handling of highly corrosive liquids containing crystals, slurry, dirty liquids and chemical waste water. Thermoplastic (PP, PCDF, ETFE, PFA) pumps available, including a wide variety of plastic-lined models, with possibility of AISI316L or Hastelloy C closed, open or open-vortex impeller. Atex 100a approved.
Plastic and Metallic Self-priming Magnetic Driven Pumps
CDR Pompe complete magnetic-driven range can be equipped with corrosion resistant plastic (PP or PVDF) or metal (AISI316L or Uranus S1) priming chamber for safe transfer of acids, bases and solvents.
Plastic and Metallic Magnetic Driven Regenerative Pumps
Close-coupled, single stage, magnetic driven regenerative pumps. In the plastic version the pump casing is made from one piece machined thermoplastic (PP or PVDF). In the metallic version (AISI316L) the components are produced with precision castings. Several internal components are interchangeable with parts from other CDR Pompe models.
